In regards to project planning, design and finishing, there are two different refurbishment fit out options available: Category A (Cat A) or Category B (Cat B). These industry-standard categories represent the style, features and work required for each commercial refurbishment project. Here’s a breakdown to understand the differences and how to select which is right for your business.

Small Works Projects

We can assist with requirements of a smaller scale. For example, you might need help refreshing or reconfiguring an existing space by creating additional meeting rooms or installing a new tea point. Projects of this nature account for a significant amount of our workload and regardless of the size of the project, we provide the same high levels of customer service and attention to detail.

Our innovative approach can deliver real advantages for cost-conscious refurbishment projects. We can design flexible, adaptable multi-use environments on small budgets without compromising the quality of service or finish.

Office Dilapidations

We also specialise in carrying out office dilapidation works for outgoing tenants to ensure you meet your leasehold agreement of returning the space to its original condition. We can normally carry out this work at a very competitive rate and finish the work at an extremely fast turnaround.

Office Maintenance

Compliance is a concern for any company. It can be easy to miss one of the many safety checks that have to be carried out periodically. Failure to comply could result in breach of your insurance, tenancy contract or even lead to prosecutions taken against the person responsible, if something was to go wrong.
Unlike many fit out contractors, we offer a post fit out office maintenance service plan, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Services.

All our contractors are fully trained and knowledgeable about the latest building compliance and regulations.

What is a Planned Preventative Maintenance Contract?

The essence of a Planned Preventative Maintenance plan is its focus on averting problems before they arise. Instead of reacting to equipment breakdowns, a well-designed PPM strategy ensures companies have a process in place that inspects, detects, and corrects minor issues early, preventing them from escalating into costly repairs or replacements.

Adopting a preventative maintenance plan brings with it a host of benefits for companies:

  • It aids in maximising equipment longevity
  • Reduces unplanned downtime
  • Enhances overall operational efficiency
  • It leads to substantial cost savings in the long run by minimizing expensive emergency repairs and improving energy efficiency

Planned maintenance, when done right, also contributes to a safer working environment. By ensuring that equipment functions optimally.

What Planned Maintenance Services we offer:

We offer the following Planned Maintenance Services to ensure your building’s services are functioning properly:

  • Boiler Maintenance
  • Air Conditioning Maintenance
  • Alarms and CCTV Systems
  • Water Temperatures

  • Emergency Light Testing
  • Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
  • Fixed Wire Electrical Testing
  • Health and Safety Fire Risk Assessments
What is a Reactive Maintenance Contract?

Reactive Maintenance, often synonymous with ‘repair in reaction to a problem’, plays a pivotal role in many companies’ overall maintenance strategies. Reactive maintenance services spring into action when an equipment failure has already occurred, working swiftly to restore normality and minimise downtime.

Reactive maintenance offers office buildings a safety net in the case anything breaks down or requires urgent repair.
